Question about Mobicool MB 40 AC/DC
Does anyone know the exact starting power of the compressor? Unfortunately, a 30A fuse is not enough - it always burns out when the compressor starts.
I have the same problem. I think the starting current is too high.
Where do you blow the fuse? Car 12VDC or house 230VAC? But there seems to be something else wrong. The box only has 65W (AC) and 48W (DC) power consumption. That's 4A at 12VDC. Could be a short circuit.
Have you found a solution in the meantime? Can you perhaps tinker with a capacitor? How long does it draw so much current?
I have a 25 in it and it runs perfectly.
