The plastic lid features a firm quick-lock. The drinking hole does not close completely airtight, so the mug is not designed to be transported upside down or horizontally.

The appearance of the bottle has remained nearly unchanged for decades. The outer casing of the red thermos is made of metal and plastic, while the inner bottle is made of glass. It includes a companion cup. Clean with care; not suitable for the dishwasher.
