1. Völkl Ski Volkl Blaze 94 2021
Ski Volkl Blaze 94 2021
The introduction of the Mantra marked the beginning of Völkl's powerful freeride ski lines. For those who want to ride freely without restrictions but desire full control over a sporty off-piste ski, the new Blaze series adds another dimension to this concept. The ski is designed for the intuitive freerider who values playful yet agile and sporty maneuverability. Weighing only 1546 g (@ 179), the Blaze 94 is built for an extremely wide range of use in all off-piste conditions.
A titanium binding platform that is only 0.3 mm thick ensures direct power transfer and quick pressure build-up from edge to edge. This gives the ski a very direct response immediately after initiating a turn. To maintain full flexibility and mobility, no titanium is intentionally included in the tip and tail. Especially in tight and uneven terrain, you will benefit directly from the ski's quicker and more direct response with less effort. The 3D radius sidecut significantly enhances the liveliness and maneuverability of the ski. The Blaze construction targets the short, turn-oriented skier, but the 3D radius adapts, along with the hybrid multilayer woodcore from tip to tail, to practically any skiing style.
A great innovation is the Suspension Tip, which makes its debut in the Blaze series. This elastic, rubber-like material at the edges of the tip and tail acts as a bumper every time the ski contacts the snow in windy conditions or on the trail. The shock-absorbing elasticity not only ensures resistance but also provides excellent lift off-piste.
Völkl also offers Smart Glue climbing skins tailored for each Blaze model.

3. Völkl Ski Volkl Kendo 92 2020
Ski Volkl Kendo 92 2020
The new Kendo with a 92 mm waist is built with a Titanal frame and carbon tips. The Titanal construction runs the entire length of the ski, reinforcing it above the sidewall and in the tip area for increased stability and damping. Additionally, the midsection under the binding is solidified while allowing for a softer construction. This results in a ski that is extremely lively yet stable, even at high speeds. At the core of the ski is a proven multilayer wood core, surrounded by a continuous sidewall and a P-Tex 2100 base underneath.
