The exclusive 6XXX aluminum alloy offered by Zipp, from which our chain lock rings are made, is 40% harder and 33% stronger than the industry standard 7075 aluminum. They are cut to ISO standards to ensure perfect thread contact and are part of the standard equipment for Zipp hubs and disc wheels. However, you should keep some spare parts for your other wheels.
