The Zipp 303 Firecrest Tubular wheelset for disc brakes represents groundbreaking innovations for performance-oriented cyclists. The wheels were designed to meet the demands of our sponsored athletes, whether in road cycling or cyclocross, as well as for all other cyclists who appreciate the tried-and-true qualities of tubular tires. Therefore, the 303 Firecrest Tubular for disc brakes incorporates several key technologies from Zipp's top-tier NSW wheelset. These include the ABLC™-Sawtooth™ structures with small indentations that extend to the top of the rim. The rim has also been redesigned for impact resistance. These innovations enhance a wheelset that has proven to be world-class in two of the most challenging arenas – the spring classics and the cyclocross World Cup. Complementing the 303 Firecrest Tubular rims are the durable, versatile, and Germany-developed ZR1-DB hubs that spin at the center of the wheelset.
