The increased water resistance due to the fringes also provides a prolonged sinking phase, creating micro-vibrations and light reflections. To keep you protected from hang-ups, the Skirted Jig is equipped with a weed guard. Compared to conventional Japanese and U.S. skirted jigs, which are specially designed for black bass fishing, the bristles on Zeck's skirted jig are deliberately softer. This protects your hook from weeds and branches without sacrificing bites. Due to the special tapered stand-up shape of the jig head, the Skirted Jig from Zeck glides wonderfully through branches and remains on the ground after sinking. This reduces hang-ups and allows fish to suck in the bait more easily.

The hook size 1/0 is perfect for fishing for perch, while the hook sizes 3/0 and 4/0 are more suitable for fishing for black bass, pike, zander, or larger perch.
