Since the introduction of the Vertical Jigs, we know that lures emitting high-frequency vibrations are also extremely effective catfish baits. We want to take advantage of these properties not only in vertical fishing but also in spin fishing. For this reason, Zeck has developed the Cat Seeker. As catfish in many well-known "spin waters" no longer respond well to spoons, we hope to achieve true success with the Cat Seeker. When mounted on the rear eyelet, you can guide it just below the water's surface. When attached to the middle back eyelet, it runs deeper, and when mounted on the front eyelet, you can fish it at depths of about 3 meters. There isn’t much to say about the retrieval style. The most effective method is to simply reel in the Cat Seeker. The speed should be adjusted according to the conditions, but you don’t need to pull it through the water too quickly. If you want to intentionally tap the bottom, it can be jigged like a rubber fish. However, during the "jigging phase," you need to give it a more vigorous "jerk," as the main attraction of this type of lure is its high-frequency vibrations. The Cat Seeker is a true distance hunter thanks to its weight and compact shape. To securely hook our target fish, the single Lure Striker (single hook with a twisted eye) in the rear area is usually sufficient. If the water is completely snag-free, you can also attach a split ring and an additional hook to the lower eyelet in the front lure area if needed.
