The EVA beads of the Flatty Scratchers are very innovative. The special EVA material has a buoyant effect, lifting the bait and the hook. This positions the beads within the fish's line of sight. Since the weight of the hook is nearly neutralized by the beads, this also provides better hold in the fish's mouth. The EVA beads are designed to absorb worm or fish juice, attracting fish even when there is little bait left on the hook.
