We present the 2026 VCORE 98! Like the previous generation, this racquet has a 630 cm² head with an open string pattern and Yonex's modified ("Energized") Isometric head shape, which offers an enlarged frame at the top for more spin and power. On the court, the VCORE 98 is surprisingly fast, making it great for chasing down balls, generating strong spin, or reacting quickly at the net. Compared to the VCORE 100, this racquet provides a more precise and predictable response, allowing you to hit your targets with speed more easily or pull the trigger at the end of a long rally. For 2026, Yonex has redesigned the frame, giving it a faster, more aerodynamic shape while reinforcing key areas for added stability and power. Other innovations for 2026 include the widening of the grommet holes for increased string movement and better snapback effect, as well as the extension of the inner groove at the tip for more flexibility and feel. As with the previous generation, this racquet incorporates a thin, elastic film (Servo Filter) within the layers of 2 NAMD FlexForce Graphite, allowing the racquet to flex optimally while absorbing unwanted vibrations.
