Product details

The Venture is one of the most versatile WTB tires, offering optimum performance in a wide range of conditions. As a true set-it-and-forget-it gravel tire, it serves riders who need traction on various terrains. Raised grooves in the centerline provide effective edges that dig in, whether on climbs or corners. Two rows of outer knobs offer confidence no matter how hard you lean into corners, while providing significant sidewall protection. The Venture is the tire of choice when the destination is unknown, but you're sure to encounter varied terrain along the way.

SG2 flat protection is available with this tire, featuring a lightweight nylon insert that provides bead-to-bead coverage, ensuring every area of the tire is protected against cuts and punctures. As competitions get rougher and cyclists pedal harder, the gravel gets tougher, making it essential for gravel tires to be tougher as well. Nylon fibers have a flat profile, reducing the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between the fibers and minimizing weight. Protected SG2 gravel tires have a 120 TPI carcass, which improves suppleness compared to a conventional 60 TPI tire.

Dual DNA rubber mixing is the perfect blend of efficiency, traction, and durability. The centerline tread features a firmer rubber compound for faster rolling and increased durability, while the side knobs are made of softer, slower-rebounding rubber that improves control and grip.

ElektroRad22 Altagsreifen im TestReleaseNovember 2024

Developing a good all-rounder is a major challenge for many manufacturers. This is shown by our test on the test bench and in practice. For many, weight and smooth running are in direct conflict with puncture resistance. In the end, we differentiated between the two product groups of gravel and trekking tyres for a fair result...
