For the Tee 200, Woolpower uses Ullfrotté Original 200 g/m², the thinnest version of Ullfrotté. The terry-knitted material made from fine merino wool, a polyamide component, and of course a lot of air is particularly abrasion-resistant. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool fibers create a knit that traps a significant amount of air, resulting in excellent insulation properties. Wool is the functional material from nature. So far, no one has succeeded in artificially producing a fiber that possesses such fantastic properties as wool. Wool is self-cleaning to a certain extent and does not smell unpleasant even when the body sweats. Additionally, wool fibers can absorb up to 30 percent of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp.
