The Long Johns 200 are produced using a circular knitting process, which eliminates the need for longitudinal seams and significantly enhances wearing comfort. The air trapped between the fibers reduces heat exchange within the material, providing insulation against incoming cold. This thin functional underwear is designed to be worn directly against the skin as a moisture-wicking base layer. Woolpower products truly showcase their advantages here, as the material maintains the body's thermal balance while simultaneously transporting sweat away. Depending on the activity, this thermal underwear offers optimal cold protection in temperatures ranging from +10 °C to -20 °C. Ullfrotté Original consists of 80% air. It is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other made of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool create a knitted fabric that traps a significant amount of air, resulting in excellent insulation properties. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
