This stem cap is where your bike fashion sense and weight collide. This ultra-light stem cap integrates a 5mm, 10mm or 15mm headset spacer with a stem cap in one finely machined piece. Why do you need an additional spacer on the stem? Well, many carbon steerer tubes require the steerer tube to extend over the stem. Also, riders may want the flexibility to keep the handlebar height open for different types of riding or for resale bikes and not shorten the steerer tube.
