Winter trips with minimal luggage are exactly what the Western Mountaineering Lynx Gore WS is designed for. The finest goose down, tightly packed in a Gore Windstopper shell, keeps you cozy warm even in temperatures around -20 degrees Celsius. The chambers on the top and bottom of the Lynx GWS are separated by a V-shaped cross-channel that keeps the down in place, just as it should be in a winter sleeping bag. The thick thermal collar ensures that warmth stays inside the sleeping bag, even if you move around a lot in your sleep. Additionally, it takes up very little space in your backpack and weighs surprisingly little. You know that you can only enjoy extreme cold if you have also had a good night's sleep.
