The Western Mountaineering Apache MF features a more robust outer material than the Ultralite models. Filled with the finest Polish goose down that offers excellent loft, it is an outstanding down sleeping bag for cold nights. The Apache has continuous baffles from the top to the bottom, allowing you to shift the down according to your needs. By moving more down to the top, you can achieve higher thermal performance at the same weight (at least for back sleepers) and vice versa. A well-shaped hood and a three-dimensional draft collar effectively prevent heat loss. If durability is more important to you than minimal weight, then the Apache MF from Western Mountaineering is your sleeping bag.
