Windproof tights for cross-country skiing. Stylish and comfortable for skiing in cool weather and moderate speeds.
Discover our new tights: a tighter fit, windproof membrane up to the knee, and pre-shaped knees for dynamic skiing with high wearing comfort.
A waterproof membrane has the disadvantage of being less breathable. Cross-country skiing is a very physically demanding sport, which means there is a risk of sweating heavily and then getting cold. Therefore, we only use water-repellent materials for your cross-country skiing clothing, where water beads off the fabric, and not waterproof materials. We recommend waterproof clothing only when it is raining or snowing heavily on your tour.
These tights cover a fairly wide temperature range, so you can wear them almost throughout the entire season. If it’s very cold, you can wear breathable ski base layers underneath or a windproof overpant on top. This three-layer technique also depends on individual cold sensitivity.
Did you know that wind increases the perception of cold? For example, at an outside temperature of 0 °C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the perceived temperature is -10 °C. Windproof material reduces this effect by limiting air circulation.
