Nylon casing:

Nylon is a strong and durable synthetic fibre traditionally used for strong tyre casings. Nylon threads are less thin than cotton threads, so casings have a lower number of threads per inch. The advantage of nylon casings is that they are strong and durable and extend the life of the casing. However, because it is a synthetic fibre, it is not as supple (soft/flexible) as cotton.
