Vision Merisuola Kl. 8/9

A premium reel requires a top-notch brake, ample line capacity, a lightweight yet sturdy construction, and last but not least, a unique design to stand out from other reels on the market. All these features apply to the Merisuola; it is one of Vision's absolute premium products. The models 8/9, 9/10, and 10/12 are equipped with the extraordinarily powerful braking system of the XLB reels, whose mechanism has proven itself with countless large fish for over 20 years. The braking system is even better sealed than its predecessors and is designed for heavy salmon and saltwater fishing. The braking force increases very linearly within 2.5 full turns of the brake knob up to an impressive maximum braking force of 8 kg for the 9/10 and 10/12 models. The braking system is sealed with shaft seals from Ina Germany, and all ball bearings are made in Japan.
