Instead of down, this jacket is insulated with PrimaLoft, a down-like synthetic fiber technology known for its excellent thermal insulation performance.

The jacket also features elastic and breathable inserts that allow for ample freedom of movement and provide sufficient ventilation. The hood, cuffs, and hem are elastically bound, ensuring an ideal fit. The reversed 2-way zipper is robust and allows for quick on and off. There are two front pockets and a zippered chest pocket for valuables, avalanche transceiver, and energy bars. The chest pocket is easily accessible even when wearing a harness.
