Shoe splash guard. The water-repellent gaiter protects against rain and splashes and can be worn over any shoe. It features a continuous Velcro closure and large reflective elements for high visibility in traffic. This product is made with Eco Finish, which provides environmentally friendly water repellency without fluorocarbons (PFC). The Vaude Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials. Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds used for impregnating the outer fabric of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism as they are considered non-biodegradable, can accumulate in the body, and are suspected of being harmful to health. Vaude has made a clear commitment to completely eliminate PFCs.
