This product is made with Eco Finish, which provides environmentally friendly water repellency without fluorocarbons (PFC).

Vaude products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds used for the impregnation of the outer fabric in many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, accumulating in the body, and being suspected of being harmful to health. Vaude has made a clear commitment to completely eliminate PFCs.

With the Green Shape label, Vaude offers functional, environmentally friendly products made from sustainable materials. Fair working conditions throughout the entire supply chain are prioritized in production. The assessment criteria are strict and transparent. They are continuously reviewed and cover the entire product lifecycle—from design to production, maintenance, repair, and recycling.
