The Surge Aero MIPS sets standards in terms of aerodynamics, airflow and safety. The performance racing helmet was developed together with the professionals from Team Intermarché-Wanty and ex-professionals from international cycling. A standard aero cover partially covers the large ventilation openings to significantly reduce air resistance. If ventilation is more important, the aero cover can simply be removed. This makes the helmet two helmets in one. The multi inmould construction with embedded foam cage structure gives it increased stability. At the same time, the weight remains competitive. The Mips Air Node safety system provides an additional level of safety for the brain. An ultra-light, low-friction layer absorbs the rotational and centrifugal forces of an impact.
