Troy Lee Designs Stage - lighter, cooler, faster: all in one! Less weight, more fun - this is the guiding principle of the brand new Stage helmet. It redefines mountain biking safety, style, comfort, and ventilation. The lightweight full-face helmet combines EPP (for low-speed impacts) and EPS (for high-speed impacts) in a protective package that sets a new standard for mountain bike enduro helmets. The Polylite shell with fiber reinforcement and the injected chin bar made of polyacrylite with EXOskeleton provide additional stability without compromising weight. 11 high-flow air intakes and 14 exhaust vents, along with large ventilation openings in the chin bar, ensure cooling and comfort. The Stage helmet also features an X-Static helmet liner that wicks moisture, dries quickly, and combats odors. A special Fidlock closure buckle rounds out the overall feature package.

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System): The MIPS impact protection system consists of a low-friction layer beneath the helmet padding that reduces the rotational forces transferred to the brain during an impact. This layer allows the head to move 10-15 mm relative to the helmet in all directions during a fall, redirecting energies and forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain. MIPS helmets are designed to protect the brain from oblique impacts, as rotational forces occur during angled falls, which can lead to brain injuries. MIPS can reduce both rotational movement and the risk of brain damage.
