Product details
Inmolding refers to a technology for optimizing the weight, ventilation, and stability of the helmet. The outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS material during the manufacturing process to form a single unit.
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a fall protection system that features a low-friction layer under the helmet padding, which reduces the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an impact. This layer allows the head to move 10-15 mm relative to the helmet in all directions during a fall, redirecting energies and forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain. MIPS helmets are designed to protect the brain from angled impacts, as these falls create rotational forces that can lead to brain injury. MIPS can reduce both rotational motion and the risk of brain damage.
