Trigger element for the inflatable life jackets LJ900 (post-2012), LJ150N AIR, and LJ150N AIR with harness system. Cartridge available separately: 8589883. This system with cellulose tablet is activated when the tablet dissolves in water. The trigger works with a UML salt tablet that is sensitive to water and moisture. Storing in a humid environment and in a poorly ventilated and/or warm place can lead to condensation and cause activation. To avoid accidental activation, we recommend ensuring that the jacket (inside and out) is dry and then storing it in a ventilated area. Easy handling: The old, used system is unscrewed and the new one is screwed back on. Precautions: When replacing the complete system (gas cartridge + trigger), the trigger should be replaced first to prevent the new gas cartridge from activating.
