These overtrousers were designed for cruising in stormy weather. They are waterproof, breathable overtrousers made from lightweight fabric, featuring adjustable leg length and a practical pocket.

Breathability of the material:
One method for measuring breathability is the RET test (Resistance of Evaporation of a Textile), which measures the water vapor resistance of a textile (according to standard ISO 11092). The lower the value, the more breathable the garment.

• RET < 9 = extremely breathable
• RET 9–12 = very breathable
• RET 12–20 = breathable
• RET > 20 = hardly or not breathable

Care instructions:

• Rinse with clear water after each use.
• Store dry.
• Wash as little as possible to maintain the water-repellent coating.
• Wash inside out. Use a synthetic program (30 or 40 °C) with regular detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Pay attention to reduced load in the machine. Perform an additional rinse cycle.
• Air dry in a tumble dryer.
• Renewing the water-repellent property: Place in the tumble dryer for 10–15 minutes (synthetic program), inside out.

The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is measured in mm water column (test according to standard JIS). The higher the pressure, the less permeable the fabric. Here are the waterproofing values:
The material has a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm water column – average water pressure during a rain shower. The waterproofing of the trousers has been successfully tested for 2 hours at a precipitation rate of 60 l/m²/hour.
