Torq EVA Softboards are built like the Torq TET Epoxy Boards, but are additionally equipped with a soft EVA foam deck and soft fins. They offer excellent performance and added safety.

Torq Soft Surfboards continue the Torq revolution in epoxy surfboard technology. The Torq Soft technology combines a lightweight EPS core with biaxial fiberglass cloth, epoxy resin, and an outer layer of extruded EVA foam on the deck and rails.

EVA decks offer numerous advantages over PE decks. EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is more durable, slip-resistant, and water-resistant than PE (polyethylene). It provides better grip, can be surfed without wax, and maintains its shape over time. In contrast, PE decks are softer and offer a more pleasant feel but wear out more quickly.

Due to the relatively rough or slip-resistant EVA deck, skin irritation may occur. It may be advisable to wear a wetsuit or rash vest.
