Torq ACT Prepreg Construction: From race cars to racing yachts, the most advanced composites are made and processed from pre-preg materials. It represents the pinnacle of composite technology. Through years of working with epoxy surfboards, developing and testing pre-preg materials, we have created the world's first EPS/Epoxy Pre-Preg surfboard. This is a significant advancement in surfboard technology. The term pre-preg describes a material where the resin is mechanically pre-impregnated under controlled conditions. Pre-preg composites are cured under heat and high pressure. The baking process results in a much stronger curing of the resin. The effects on surfboards are numerous - more accuracy, less waste, perfect reproduction - but the biggest advantage lies in the performance of the main factors in relation to each other: flex and strength to weight.
