The Z-Lite sleeping pad has always been a favorite among ultralight mats. It is the lightest, most compact closed-cell pad from Therm-a-Rest. Both the Z Lite SOL and the original Z Lite feature an accordion structure and heat-retaining depressions. Additionally, the Z-Lite SOL has a ThermaCapture coating that captures radiated heat, making it nearly 20% warmer overall. The new, specially developed foams have a softer surface for added comfort and a denser, more durable underside.
