After the foam expands, the sleeping pad can be adjusted to individual firmness with just a few additional breaths. The WingLock valve is very helpful for this, as it operates intuitively and prevents unwanted air escape during inflation. The thinnest is the warmest mat in the test! But due to the dense foam inside the Pro Lite Apex, this is not surprising. The foam has a very good insulating performance. For the thickness (only 5 cm ) the Therm-a-Rest has a good lying comfort.
