With an adjustment range of 55-73 mm, this brake is perfect for wide tires or for using 650b wheels on a 700c frame. The quick-release mechanism allows you to remove the wheels without deflating them. Available in "Recessed" or "Nutted" versions. The age of the frame is crucial. Briefly explained: Until the 1970s, the brake bolt was passed through the hole and secured with a nut. For this, the brake bolt was longer and the hole smaller (Nutted). Later, the brake bolt became shorter and is secured with a sleeve nut, requiring the hole to have a larger diameter (Recessed).
