They are permitted in competitions for the Club, Pony, Amateur, and Preparation, Pro, 7 years, and young horses categories. They consist of a single solid protective shell on the inside, which is no longer than 16 cm, while the outside measures at least 5 cm. The inside is smooth. The closure is done with a non-elastic Velcro strap.
