The Neo Smart is the most powerful, intelligent, and quietest indoor trainer currently available. It is the first to feature true direct drive, as it contains no gears. The course simulation is very realistic, with no loss of power. The powerful motor can provide resistance of up to 2200 watts and realistically simulates inclines of up to 25%. Additionally, it provides propulsion during descents. All of this results in an extremely realistic riding experience, even on climbs. Thanks to the absence of gears, this trainer is also very quiet, as there are no elements that rattle or rub against each other. Calibration is not required, and there is no wear and tear. Like other smart trainers, the Neo communicates via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, allowing you to quickly and conveniently connect it to Tacx apps. Power data can be read on multiple devices simultaneously, such as your smartphone and bike computer or sports watch. The Tacx NEO is also equipped with plug-in/plug-out technology, allowing it to be used with or without a plug. Without the plug, the trainer acts as a wireless motor brake; propulsion during descents is not possible in this mode. Therefore, the Neo offers optimal user comfort at the highest level.
