The original UV water purification device in a pocket size. The Classic 3 has been tested on mountains and trails for over 15 years. The SteriPEN Classic 3 is the new generation of the award-winning Classic. It is the sleekest member of the SteriPEN family, featuring improved battery life, ergonomics, and water resistance. The wedge-shaped tip fits most standard water and field bottles. With a lifespan of up to 8000 liters of treated water, it provides more than 7 years of use. All portable SteriPEN UV light water purifiers use germicidal ultraviolet light to destroy 99.9999% of all bacteria, 99.99% of all viruses, and 99.9% of all Giardia and Cryptosporidium. They purify 1.0 liters of water in 90 seconds or 0.5 liters in 48 seconds.
