The brand subjected all chainring sizes to countless environmental influences and mechanical tortures, abuse, and neglect, both in the lab and in the real world, before arriving at a chainring that could enhance the performance of the Eagle drivetrain system under all conditions.

The specific tooth shape was developed to perfectly match the new Eagle chain, increasing chain retention and overall pedaling efficiency while simultaneously reducing friction, noise, and wear.
