As SRAM's first direct-mount road bike brake, the S-900 rim brake not only completes the road bike product range but is designed to deliver maximum braking power and a distinct pressure point. Its construction optimizes the force transfer to the brake and reduces losses towards the frame and fork. This results in more braking power reaching the rim; additionally, the stiff design ensures good modulation and direct return. The brake accommodates tires up to 28 mm wide and is compatible with all non-hydraulic SRAM levers, including the SRAM RED eTap.
