Besides the right fruit and a good recipe, the barrel plays the most important role. Not only does it have to be leak-proof, it also has to preserve the aroma and bouquet for many months. Above all, it must keep out harmful bacteria that can penetrate through the air and the barrel material. The more airtight the barrel, the better the must.

Only uncoloured, food-safe PE plastic is used for these must barrels. The particularly thick wall preserves aroma and alcohol and keeps the must fresh and sparkling for a very long time (in contrast to thin-walled cheap barrels). The large filling dome allows thorough cleaning by hand right into the outermost corners.
