Specialized Recon 3.0

Like all the shoes, the Recon 3.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven. All of this has been proven to increase performance by an average of 7 watts. The secrets of Stride technology are a flexible outsole and flexible upper around the toe box, combined with a rigid cleat mount. This combination allows the shoe to flex slightly when walking, while remaining stiff and efficient when pedalling. Whether it's the cable routing, the position of the BOA twist locks or the carbon base plate, the Recon 3.0 is inspired by the flagship shoe, the S-Works Recon. Two Boa Li2 dials allow ultra-fine adjustments for the perfect fit, while the cable guides minimise movement within the shoe for a close-fitting ride and feel. Finally, the carbon base plate further stiffens the Recon 3.0 - and saves several grammes in weight compared to its predecessor.
