Spatzwear Spatz basez 2

Completely redesigned for 2020. The Basez 2 will be the most advanced baselayer you will ever own.

The collar protects the neck, there are thumb holes, and a longer back panel. The moisture-regulating material and lightweight design ensure optimal wearing comfort. Worn against the skin, the Basez 2 is designed to trap warm air and wick away sweat.

Words from the designer: "The most important piece of clothing is the one that comes into contact with the skin. In winter, many cyclists (myself included) like to wear thick, lightweight jackets. The problem with these jackets (and winter jackets) is poor heat management, especially when they are wet. I have spent most of my life as a pro cyclist wondering why I ended up wet, cold, and uncomfortable after one or two hours of winter riding, despite being sponsored by premium clothing brands. It seems that no one has designed a baselayer for winter outings. I created the BASEZ with my own fabrics, where the air pockets are trapped by the design of the baselayer. During a bike ride, all body parts have different temperatures, moisture levels, and comfort. The Basez features a thicker and warmer upper body and forearms to protect against the wind. The Basez also has a longer back panel to cover and insulate the lower back near the saddle."
