Driven by the ideas of the world's most demanding kite surfers across all disciplines and based on our experience with the design of the legendary RPM, we have developed the brand new RPX. The RPX features a completely new trailing edge shape. By redesigning the trailing edge, we were able to eliminate areas of turbulence, drag, and flutter. The result is better feedback at the top of the window during looping, a tighter turning radius while surfing, and ultra-fast response speed. The RPX comes with a new, simplified Premium FlyLine bridle system. This new system has a diameter of just 1.6 mm, which represents a 25% reduction compared to the previous model. It is stronger, lighter, and allows the kite to move through the air with less resistance. The canopy of the RPX has been significantly refined, featuring an 88-panel reduction compared to its predecessor, the RPM. The result is a double weight reduction and a cleaner airflow. The RPX is built on a long-standing invention by Slingshot, the "Open C Canopy." This flatter arc offers excellent characteristics in terms of range, power, and lift while providing precise handling and energetic responsiveness.
