Driven by the ideas of the world's most demanding kite surfers across all disciplines and based on our experience with the design of the legendary RPM, we have developed the brand new RPX. The RPX features a completely new trailing edge shape. By redesigning the trailing edge, we were able to eliminate areas of turbulence, drag, and flutter. The result is better feedback at the top of the window during looping, a tighter turning radius while surfing, and ultra-fast response speed. The RPX comes with a new, simplified Premium FlyLine bridle system. This new system has a diameter of just 1.6 mm, which is a 25% reduction compared to the previous model. It is stronger, lighter, and allows the kite to move through the air with less resistance. The canopy of the RPX has been significantly refined, featuring a reduction of 88 panels compared to its predecessor, the RPM. The result is a twofold weight reduction and a cleaner airflow. The RPX is built on a long-standing invention from Slingshot, the "Open C Canopy." This flatter arc provides excellent characteristics in terms of range, power, and lift, while also offering precise handling and energetic responsiveness.
