Silca Elastomerdichtung 252

The 252 gasket replaces the classic Silca 25.1 gasket after more than 20 years on the market. This unique gasket was inspired by industries that require airtight seals in the most challenging environments. The 252 gasket uses a high-tech synthetic elastomer as the base material. It has a service life that is more than five times longer than that of carbon fibre reinforced rubber or Buna-N materials used previously. In tests with a major disc wheel manufacturer, the current Silca disc wheel adapter with seal 252 excelled with a blowing pressure of 393 psi, where other models could not even reach 120 psi. The older versions of the Silca disc wheel adapter will still benefit from the new seal, but will have a lower maximum hands-free pressure.
