The Sidi technology used in mountain biking is transferred to the gravel discipline with its technical aspects in a powerful, stiff shoe featuring a closure designed for high demands.

The Tecno-3 system ensures an optimal fit throughout the length of the shoe and adjusts the upper material to the shape of the foot for a personalized fit. Sidi's well-known reliable and replaceable closures are enhanced by a completely new, patented Sidi Wire material that allows for intuitive and effortless adjustments while riding.

The heel cup is integrated, with a new design and lightweight construction, reinforced to prevent deformation after prolonged effort and pressure. Anatomically shaped, it stabilizes the foot while pedaling. The reflective inserts on the heel provide the athlete with increased safety on the road and help signal the cyclist's presence in low visibility conditions.

The upper part of the toe area is rubberized to fend off impacts from stones or debris while cycling. It is made of non-slip rubber.

Lighter and more efficient, the new Sidi MTB sole is made of nylon with PU inserts. The shape of the sole profile has been specifically designed for mountain biking, allowing for good grip, facilitating mud release, and providing the right stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo is slip-resistant and is particularly practical and useful for less experienced users. The toe area, which is more stressed during walking, can be replaced with screws and still offers the option to mount crampons to improve traction on particularly muddy surfaces. SR17 represents the ultimate result in terms of design and functionality.
