Sidi Gravel Dust

The Sidi technology developed for mountain biking is used in the gravel discipline and shows its most technical aspects in a high-performance, stiff shoe with a closure system designed for increased demands. The Tecno-3 system ensures a customised fit over the entire length of the shoe and adapts the upper material to the shape of the foot. Sidi's famous, reliable and interchangeable closures are enhanced by a brand new, proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely binding-free and allows intuitive and effortless adjustments while riding. The heel cup is integrated, with a new design and lightweight construction, reinforced to prevent deformation after prolonged effort and pressure. It is anatomically shaped and stabilises the foot when pedalling. The reflective inserts on the heel offer the athlete greater safety on the road and help to signal the cyclist's presence in poor visibility conditions. The upper part of the toe area is rubberised to resist and deflect impacts from stones or debris when cycling. It is made of non-slip rubber. Lighter and more performance-orientated, the new Sidi MTB sole is made of nylon with polyurethane inserts. The shape of the sole profile has been specially developed for mountain biking to provide good grip, facilitate mud dispersion and offer the right stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo has a non-slip effect and is practical and useful, especially for less experienced users. The toe area, which is subject to greater wear, can be replaced with screws and still offers the possibility of fitting crampons to improve traction on particularly muddy surfaces. SR17 represents the ultimate result in terms of stiffness when pedalling and flexibility when walking.
