Shimano Deore XT FH-M8000 Hub HR 10/11-speed Center-Lock 2016
For many years, Shimano XT has represented reliable technology and high quality. Through continuous development and refinement of the components, the new 2016 XT FH-M8000 hub has become lighter and more robust. All the expertise from years of work and development is incorporated into each individual part. The new 32-hole hub continues Shimano's tradition of constant improvement. The 135 mm quick-release version can easily compete with more expensive hubs, thanks to the Centerlock disc brake mount, the oversized aluminum axle, and labyrinth seals. The so-called cup and cone bearing system makes the cone bearings more durable than sealed industrial compact bearings, and due to the even distribution of axial and radial forces, they run particularly smoothly and offer longer durability. Additionally, the bearings are quick to maintain, adjust, and replace. The 2016 Deore XT group meets all demands, from cross country to trail and enduro, more than adequately. The freehub body is compatible with both 10-speed and 11-speed cassettes.
