For years, anglers have relied on Technium lines for their strength, reliability, and casting properties. Their dark color makes them nearly invisible, and new Japanese technologies have enabled Shimano to produce a thinner yet stronger line. The Triple Core technology of Technium monofilaments has always made them some of the best lines on the market. With the latest Japanese technology, the line is not only thinner but also stronger. A three-layer monofilament offers excellent strength, but that's not all. The elasticity is very low at around 12%, while other lines on the market have about 25%. Therefore, Technium allows for longer casts and better bite detection. Additionally, it sinks very quickly.
