The Shimano SL-M315 is a shift lever designed for city, touring, and mountain bikes with 7-speed or 8-speed gearing and two or three chainrings. It features an integrated, easy-to-read gear indicator that helps you keep track of your current gear level. As a Rapidfire Plus model, the SL-M315 allows for quick, indexed shifting; with each lever pull, you can downshift by up to 3 gears at once.
