With the M8000, Shimano has completely revamped its excellent XT group, featuring an 11-speed drivetrain similar to the XTR, which excels in a remarkably wide range of applications. The teeth of the 2-speed chainrings are equipped with Shimano's new Dynamic Chain Engagement (DCE) technology, ensuring optimal chain management—both during crank rotation and in terms of chain retention on the chainring in rough terrain. This further minimizes the risk of the chain dropping off.
