The EX500 is something of a chameleon amongst the cycling shoes in Shimano’s range. You can use the shoe with the SPD clipless pedal system to achieve a smoother pedal stroke and improved power transfer. The SPD cleat can be positioned – with a little leeway – in the midfoot area, which makes for comfortable pedalling. The deeply grooved sole offers excellent traction when walking, whilst the side lugs provide some protection for the metal cleat. The light, airy and breathable upper ensures high levels of comfort and effective moisture management. Good cushioning, quick and secure fastening. The EVA midsole cushions your steps and pedal strokes, ensuring every journey is comfortable and effortless. You can quickly adjust the fit of the shoes to suit your needs using the quick-lace system, whilst a Velcro strap ensures everything stays in place. The use of recycled materials also reflects a commitment to sustainability.
