Shimano sets global benchmarks with the Deore XT group when it comes to mountain bike shifting systems. The new shift levers are equipped with numerous innovations and optimizations. This includes the Instant Release technology, which allows for faster shifting operations. The cable is released directly when the lever is activated. Another highlight is the Multi-Release technology, which permits two gear shifts. Now you can shift across multiple gears using either the main lever or the secondary lever in both directions. The 2-Way Release allows you to release the cable by pushing with your thumb or pulling with your index finger. The derailleur adapts individually to your riding style. The further developed Vivid Index mechanism ensures clear tactile feedback and precision. Additionally, the levers are available for classic clamp mounting and in two I-Spec versions. I-Spec II is an integrated mounting system for brake and shift levers. It uses only one clamp, resulting in a weight saving of about ten grams. The fine adjustment options in the horizontal direction also allow for a customized and optimally adjusted setup.
